This radial Bottom Bracket Bearing boasts 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with Grade 5 Balls, filled to 90% with high-pressure, water-proof grease. Tailored for bicycles, it employs a protective gray LLU seal facing outwards to shield against water and dirt, and lighter-contact black LLB seals inwards to retain grease. Primarily used as a direct replacement for Shimano external cup BBs with the plastic insert, consider MR 2437 if you prefer to avoid it. Enduro bearings come in various materials like high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD15 with ceramic or stainless balls. They feature deep groove races for large balls and dual-lip seals in a micro-groove for longevity and superior element protection.
