The C.E Smith 16661A Class II Rating Safety Chain Set is an essential piece of boat equipment for anyone who frequently tows a boat trailer. These durable chains are designed to provide an added level of safety while on the road, ensuring that your trailer stays connected to your tow vehicle in the event that the coupler becomes unhitched. Constructed with boating use in mind, these strong chains feature zinc plating that provides added durability and resistance to corrosion. The 24" long chains have a 3500-pound capacity and feature heat-treated s-hooks to prevent accidental un-hooking and separation of the trailer from the tow vehicle. These chains are sold in pairs and the 5/0 chain size fits most boat trailers. An integrated security spring clip is added to the safety chains, preventing accidental un-hooking, making it easy to use and keeping your trailer secure. The chains are Class II rated and meet or exceed all industry standards for safety.
